The Reading Clinic collaborated with the dedicated staff members of Faith Lutheran Academy to develop a bespoke reading program tailored specifically for FLA families. By integrating data-driven strategies with individualized instruction, the program is designed to address the unique challenges students' face, and ensures measurable improvements in reading fluency and comprehension. Ongoing feedback from both educators and families has been instrumental in refining our approach, resulting in a supportive learning environment that significantly boosts students’ confidence and academic success in literacy. Simultaneously, it provides targeted support for writing and spelling skills through structured, one-on-one instruction, thoughtfully designed to build proficiency as well as sustained confidence in these essential areas. Additionally, the program places a strong emphasis on developing mental fortitude, equipping young learners with a resilient mindset and effective learning strategies necessary to successfully overcome challenges both inside and outside the classroom. This foundational approach ensures that each student is empowered to excel academically while also fostering a genuine, lifelong love for reading, learning, and intellectual growth!

When will my child meet with Ms. Angelique?

Typically we will schedule your child during non-core subjects throughout the school day. There is also availability before and after school.

How long are the sessions and how often do they occur?

Depending on the student’s needs, the session will vary from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. We will meet once a week for a set amount of weeks.

Is there a cost for this service?

Yes, depending on what your child needs the cost will vary. Typical starting cost is $120/hr.
