In honor of our Author Study of Greg Pizzoli, our Book Klub will be reading Pizza! A Slice of History on Tuesday, October 27th. At 4:30 p.m., parents and siblings are welcome to join us for a few slices of pizza!

If your child is unable to attend, please let Ms. Angelique know so she can send some pizza home with your child. Please also let her know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions we may need to accommodate.

Throughout our time in Book Klub, we will be building important reading skills while exploring each of our carefully curated books. Reading will be more than simply finishing a book. Readers will be encouraged to think deeply about what they are reading and make connections.  

We will also participate in group discussions where readers can share their thoughts, ask questions, and listen to different perspectives.

As always, our goal is to help readers become more confident, thoughtful, and active readers while showing them that reading can be both meaningful and enjoyable.
